Memorial Day weekend is always the kick off to the summer boating season in Cincinnati. This year the weather was sunny and hot….perfect for getting the boat out to spend some time on the water with the family. As you can see from the pictures, there are a lot of sites to see while boating on the Ohio River. These pictures were taken mostly by downtown Cincinnati. One of the nice features of the river is if you want to get away from the traffic of the big city, you can cruise a few miles up river or a few miles down river and get away from it all and soak in the scenery that lines the banks. If you haven’t boated on the river, you need to do yourself a favor and check it out. I think you’ll find the Ohio River is one of the nicest boating destinations in the Midwest!
